Larre was a recipient of a teaching grant from the State of Florida Division of Historic Preservation and designated as a Folklife Master Teacher in 2009. He has presented demonstrations and workshops on Irish music at Florida State University, University of Florida, the Florida Flute Association, and the Florida Folk Festival. In addition to teaching privately, he created and taught a class for beginning tin whistle at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida.
Some of Larre’s performances include: Celtic Fest (Jackson, Mississippi); North Texas Irish Fest (Dallas, Texas); the Florida Folk Festival (White Springs, Florida); and the Jax Irish Fest (Jacksonville, Florida).
