Irish Artist in America Achievement Award

A highlight of the O'Flaherty Irish Music Retreat is the presentation of the Irish Artist in America Achievement award to an instructor who has advanced the teaching and performance of traditional Irish music in the United States.  The Traditional Irish Music Education Society (TIMES), the retreat's parent organization, has honored the recipients shown below for their notable contribution to and stewardship of traditional Irish music.

As with any tradition, Irish music is bequeathed to the next generation by those who respect its past, cherish its present, and preserve its future.  We believe these musicians exemplify those ideals.
