SOUNDMAN agrees to be engaged as an independent contractor and will prepare and manage sound engineering for afternoon sound checks and evening instructor performances at the RETREAT during the period October 23rd-26th, 2025. TIMES agrees to pay an honorarium fee to SOUNDMAN by the closing of the RETREAT on Sunday, October 26th, 2025 for SOUNDMAN’S services as previously agreed. The fee is $375.00 per day. Additionally, meals and a dorm bed will be provided SOUNDMAN during the times and days that SOUNDMAN is actively working at the RETREAT. SOUNDMAN gives permission to TIMES and its representatives to photograph, videotape and record SOUNDMAN’S activities for possible use in the marketing of RETREAT or for its educational purposes. SOUNDMAN agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless TIMES, its volunteers and managers, its board of directors, and other representatives, from and against any and all actions, SOUNDMAN at RETREAT including liability for taxes, insurance and workers compensation.
