Sinéad McKenna

Sinéad McKenna is a vibrant young Irish fiddle player and singer carving out her own path in the Irish traditional music scene. A fluent Irish speaker, Sinéad hails from a large musical family ‘The McKenna’s’. She is heavily influenced by the music of Ulster, that of North Monaghan. After the great success of her recent debut solo album ‘Faoi lán Ceoil’, Sinéad was shortlisted as an RTÉ Folk award nominee in both best emerging artist and best folk instrumentalist in 2025. Her high calibre performances as of recent include taking stage on RTÉ’S Late Late show on different occasions and performing around Europe, Japan and US.
