
Kelly Gannon is an All-Ireland champion musician who has been playing the concertina since the age of six. Growing up in Ballindine, Co.Mayo, she was taught by her mother Bernie Geraghty and now continues the family tradition of teaching in Connemara. Regularly performing at music festivals throughout Ireland, she has also been featured in concert venues across North America, including the Irish Cultural and Heritage centre of Wisconsin (Milwaukee), Catskills Irish Arts Week, and Chief O’ Neills (Chicago). Her music has been recorded for Raidió na Gaeltachta, RTÉ Radio 1 Céili House and the TV series Geantraí on TG4. More recently, she recorded with her husband Colm on the album The Rights of Man. Kelly studied classical piano and theory through the Royal Irish Academy of Music and has over 10 years teaching experience.
