His solo CD ‘Returning’ was released in 1998 and ‘The Kilmore Fancy’ with his sister flute-player Catherine McEvoy was released in 2004 to much critical acclaim.
Over the past few years John has been playing regularly with Roscommon flute player JohnWynne as ‘Pride of the West’ following the release of their very popular CD of fiddle/flute music in the Roscommon/Sligo tradition.
