Clíona Halley is a concertina player from East Cork. She has performed worldwide, most recently in Florida, Canada, Spain and London as a member of the band, Fiárock. In 2022, she represented Ireland, performing Irish music at the World Expo in Dubai. Clíona completed a Masters in Irish Traditional Music Performance at the University of Limerick and graduated with a First Class Honours. She enjoys teaching concertina workshops at festivals around Ireland and has recently been a tutor at the renowned Meitheal Summer School and Scoil Éigse. Clíona completed the TTCT Comhaltas Teaching Diploma in 2023 and was awarded the High Achievers Medal. As a primary school teacher, she enjoys sharing her love for music with the children that she teaches.
