Youth Camp Director Announced
Gordon McLeod has been selected to direct our first O'Flaherty Irish Music Youth Camp. Gordon is a respected Irish fiddler and a veteran teacher of the O'Flaherty Irish Music Retreat. He is currently the president of the Traditional Irish Music Education Society (TIMES) and a member of the band "Beyond the Pale." He also runs a small recording studio. It's A Go!

We are very excited that the camp is now fully planned and ready for online registration. Here are the basic details:

Dates: June 30 & July 1, 2008

Location: Springhill Retreat Center, 3991 E. Renner Road, Richardson, TX 75082-2501 (location of our first O'Flaherty Irish Music Retreat)

Ages: 6-15

Tuition: $50 one day; $75 two days

Classes: Fiddle, guitar, flute, whistle, piano, mandolin/bouzouki/tenor banjo and bodhran

Lodging: We have lodging available on Monday night only, June 30th. For $10, you may bring an RV or set up a campsite. We also have dorm lodging for $10 per bed.

Registration: Our new online registration is ready. Review all of information about our classes and then click on the "Register" link in the top menu of any page.
